We hired Bennett home inspections recently and it was with out a doubt the best experience we have ever had with a home inspection and inspector. To start, Geoff came out and was on time, extremely polite and understanding as the family who lives in the home was still there and hadn’t finished packing up the kids yet to leave. He started on the outside and worked his way in as to accommodate the sellers. With in a few short hours he had thoroughly gone through the house inside and out and compiled a detailed yet understandable home inspection. I want to emphasize on how detail oriented Geoff was. He spent a lot of time going out of his way to make sure he had inspected literally everything. That being said he also spent a lot of time with my wife and I explaining things on his inspection, good and bad. What he would recommend taking care of right away and what could wait as well as helping us understand the reasoning behind all of the items on the inspection. Geoff also went out of his way to do a sewer scope and let me watch and explained what I was looking at in a manor it which I could understand. He did this through out his report as well. His inspection report was extremely easy to understand as was broken down in to three parts: safety hazards, observed, and repair. Pretty self explanatory. Sometimes these inspections can be hard to read and or understand but at Bennett they make it very easy to understand. In closing I want to say that Geoff went above and beyond for us. You can tell he cares and takes pride in his work. Not only that, he cares about people. He was very personable and I felt comfortable with him and his knowledge as a home inspector. If you’re looking for a home inspection do yourself a favor and hire Bennett home inspections. They will go above and beyond for you and you can buy your new home knowing it was inspected by a stand up professional who really takes pride and stands behind his work. Bennett Home Inspections did a great job inspecting the home I hope to buy. They found many minor problems that will be easily fixed. But they also found a major problem with the sewer line. This will be dealt with one way or another. If I bought the house without this added inspection there could have been major unexpected problems down the road.

If you are out there looking for a good, reliable home inspector, Geoff is the person to go to. You can trust him completely. He provides you with a detailed explanation of what the inspection will look like and what you can expect from him before you order the inspection including the price. And once the inspection is done, he follows up with you, either in person or virtually, depending on your convenience and goes over the inspection report which is as thorough and complete as can be, accompanied with a ton of pictures of what he came across during the home inspection. Under each photo he has written an description of what it is, along with a suggestion of appropriate repairs from the builder or seller. Ordinarily, you have to order a sewer scope inspection separately. I just ordered the complete new construction home inspection and presumed on my own that the sewer scope comes with it. But on the inspection day, when I learned that I have to order and pay separately for the sewer, Geoff was kind enough to understand my confusion and perform the sewer scope without charging me a penny extra for it. It shows the kind of person he is and that he is there to help you and make your home buying experience a wonderful one. Thank you, Geoff. Your service and kindness were deeply appreciated.
