What We Offer

We Take Your Home Investment Seriously

Home Inspections

Buying a home is a big decision. Having a thorough and accurate home inspection report allows you to make a well-educated decision and provides you with more negotiating power. At Bennett Home Inspections, we evaluate the various aspects and systems of the home. When we discover issues, we clearly describe the situation and recommend a solution.

Re-Inspections

Want to make sure the contractor or the seller has done what they promised? Bennett Home Inspections will re-inspect homes to verify that items have been corrected as specified by your contingency agreement. You will receive a second inspection report with updates on the corrected issues. Talk to us today to order a re-inspection.

Sewer Scope

Did you know homeowners are responsible for maintaining the sewer lines that connect their homes to the city sewer system? Get a professional opinion on the state of your sewer line or drain line by a certified sewer scope inspector. It is crucial because it helps you avoid any large plumbing bill once you move in. Getting a sewer scope inspection with us will provide peace of mind!

Water Quality

Water is life! It’s scary to think that your private well water sources and city water can be tainted. Even plumbing distribution and fixtures inside a home can affect water quality. At Bennett Home Inspection, we take you and your family’s health safety seriously. It’s important to know for sure if your water has been contaminated. Talk to us today and get started with water quality testing!

Pest and Dryrot

We detect wood destroying organisms (WDOs) and the conditions where they thrive. We discover if insects are inhabiting or destroying the structure. We identify moisture-related problems that lead to mold, fungi, and wet rot. We are licensed by the Washington State Department of Agriculture as a structural pest inspection firm. Our inspectors are individually licensed as structural pest inspectors.

Radon Testing

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is the second-leading cause of lung cancer. It’s a dangerous health hazard but not hard to test for and mitigate. Depending on where you live in Oregon & Washington, Radon testing might be smart and necessary. Let’s make sure your Radon exposure doesn’t exceed the EPA’s safety recommendation.

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Clients Say

“Geoff came recommended by our realtor, and we were very pleased with his service. The attention to detail and thorough examination (he was somehow able to squeeze through a tiny access point to the attic located inside a closet) was superb. However, to me, the most impressive part was his sincerity. I walked away, feeling like he truly cared the job was done well. We were more than just another job/transaction to him, and that was great. I would highly recommend him.”

– Kevin

“Geoff was truly fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, detailed, punctual, and personable. What more could you ask for? He explained everything as I observed the inspection and documented it all in a well structured with lots of images and information. The inspection rate was competitive, and he checked everything on the house, including the roof, attic, and crawlspace. His professionalism shows in how seriously he takes the quality of his work. Book this guy for your home inspection. YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED.”

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Clients Say

“Geoff was extremely professional, courteous, and thorough with his inspection. As a first time home buyer, I was not sure what to expect, but Geoff went above and beyond my expectations and helped me feel at ease during this process. His explanations were easy to understand, and he provided an in-depth and comprehensive inspection report as well as a summary that included pictures, which I found to be very convenient. He offered repair recommendations, as well as things to keep an eye on in the future. After the inspection, he took the time to talk about and show pictures of everything he observed and provided the inspection report within hours of completing the inspection. I am more than happy I arranged an inspection with Bennet Home Inspections. I would recommend him to anyone in the SW WA area.”
